PREI I - 90 Hours
Course #: PREI I
This course is approved for 90 hours towards the "professional" inspector license. The textbook covers the inspection process from start to finish. The textbook includes a quiz at the end of each chapter, a checklist for each chapter and a glossary. The textbook is the most widely used textbook for all home inspection training in Texas today.

PREI II - 30 Hours
Course #: PREI II
This course is approved for 30 hours towards the "professional" inspector license. The textbook covers a field guide to building, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical codes. The state exam will reference these areas.

PREI III - 8 Hours
Course #: PREI III
This course is approved for 8 hours towards the "professional" inspector license. The textbook covers the Standards of Practice as written by The Texas Real Estate Commission as to the minimal requirements relating to components of a real estate inspection.

PREI IV - 200 Hours
Course #: PREI IV
This course is approved for 200 hours towards the "Professional" inspector license. This course contains materials in the following subjects: Appliances/6 hrs., Building Enclosures/12 hrs., Electrical Systems/25 hrs., EPA,CPSC & Business/6 hrs., Foundation Systems/30 hrs., Framing/30 hrs., HVAC Systems/25 hrs., Plumbing/25 hrs., Roof Systems/25 hrs., Standards of Practice/Legal/Ethics 8 hrs., Standard Report Writing/8 hrs.
