Per TREC rules, a licensee IS NOT ALLOWED to complete a 30-hour course unless three (3) calendar days have passed since course registration. You must allow a minimum of three (3) days PER COURSE. Students will receive a textbook for each of the above courses, which sets our real estate licensing program apart. The textbooks (written by TREC approved instructors) have proven to be an invaluable tool to pre-licensing students in preparation for the state licensing exam. Course materials are shipped via UPS Ground; therefore, to avoid shipping delays, please provide a physical address on your registration form (no PO boxes).

**New** TREC rules which which became effective 9/1/17 indicate that the final exam must be proctored. You may choose from one of the following course delivery methods. Please read each one carefully to ensure that you register for your preferred method.


( 1 ) PROCTORED ONLINE FORMAT: (Please note that this is a new format than what has previously been offered)
Students will complete the coursework online. Once all coursework is complete, you will then either:
(a) designate a proctor to administer the closed book final exam; or
(b) schedule a date/time to complete the final exam at our office in Canton, Tx.

( 2 ) C.E.L.I. OFFICE Students will schedule a date and time to come to our office in Canton, TX to complete the coursework and final exam.

A proctor is an approved person that administers an exam and agrees to fulfill the proctor responsibilities required by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). The proctor will verify a student's identity and will ensure that academic integrity guidelines are followed during the exam. Per TREC rules, a proctor must be one of the following: (1) employee at an official testing or learning/tutoring center; (2) librarian at a school, university, or public library; (3) college/university administrator, faculty, or academic advisor; (4) clergy affiliated with a specific church, temple, synagogue, or mosque; (5) an educational officer of a military installation or correctional facility; or (6) notary public. You may also choose to complete your exam at our office in Canton, TX.

NOTE: Per TREC rules, a student is allowed 2 opportunities to pass the final exam. If a student fails the exam, they may retake the exam only once after waiting at least three days.

Two exam prep formats available: ONLINE or TEXTBOOK

ONLINE - Receive a separate username/password to access the online exam prep. Students will be able to focus their preparation specifically on the national and/or state portion with the online exam prep. Features include: drill and practice from hundreds of multiple-choice questions; ability to build customized exams; view answer explanations; pinpoint problem areas with the Performance Tracker; access online when and where it is convenient.

TEXTBOOK - Receive two exam prep textbooks. One textbook covers the State (Texas) portion of the licensing exam. This textbook features quizzes relating to state-specific topics as well as relevant questions on law and practice to help students master the state portion of the licensing exam. The answer key features in-depth rationales for each question. The second textbook covers the National portion of the state licensing exam. This textbook includes more than 1,000 exam-style questions with rationales, five review exams of increasing difficulty, end of chapter questions, and a mathematics chapter which reinforces calculation techniques and reviews this often difficult subject.
